How we set out to improve a traditional industry

Making a passionate impact

Yachting was where our journey began. Colin Faas (founder) was raised with sailing on a competitive level and spent weekends on weekends on the water in a sailboat. So when looking what industry to start with, the choice for yachting was obvious.

Along the way, we developed the vision to make a true impact on an industry that was, in our opinion, very traditional in the way brands approached marketing. By bringing out-of-the-box ideas to the table and introducing winning formula’s from other industries.

Key focus

When it comes to the boating industry, a remarkable thing we noticed is; large economic transactions, stunning products but in general, rather ordinary marketing strategies.

 

That’s when we know we had a mission; challenge the status quo.

 

From working with a good amount of renowned brands we learned the in’s and out’s of the world of yachts. But in order to really make an impact for our clients we had to change things up.

 

Constantly optimizing, self reflecting and improving our craft led into a hyper-focus on results rather than fairy tales and omnipresent marketing strategies for ourselves and our clients.

Where are we now?

In the meantime we visited nearly every boat show, had the pleasure to connect with the best creators and brands in the industry. Also we got a deeper understanding of consumer behaviour and what type of social media approach speaks to them the most.

 

After observing, testing and publishing thousands of boat related content pieces we are proud to say that we know what things generate millions of views and improves the connection of brands with their audiences. Ready to make impact.
